A Storm Over England

The Battle of Britain lasted long after Adolf Hitler abandoned Operation Sea Lion, his plan to invade England. In many ways, the Battle continued until the end of World War Two, until the Spitfires and Hurricanes, the Mosquitoes and Lancasters, had all come home for the last time. Until every plane had flown its final mission.
